Scoring and winning
Understand captures, the scoreboard and match objectives.
LEARN BY DOINGOne concept. One practical step.
Read the essentials below, then try the exercise in a real match. Gameplay examples can be added to this lesson later.
THE ESSENTIALS PUT IT INTO PRACTICE
The score that matters for winning depends on the match settings. Some servers emphasize captures; competitive formats can include a map win condition and a best-of series with several maps. Do not assume a universal numerical score limit for every gCTF match.
A single successful flag run can swing a close map. If your team is ahead, avoid giving the opponent an easy counter-capture. If behind, coordinate a deliberate push instead of scattering across the map.
Check the server’s current match rules and scoreboard before the next game.
