Flag returns and resets
Know how a dropped flag gets back to its stand.
LEARN BY DOINGOne concept. One practical step.
Read the essentials below, then try the exercise in a real match. Gameplay examples can be added to this lesson later.
THE ESSENTIALS PUT IT INTO PRACTICE
When a flag carrier is stopped, the flag may become dropped. Whether it returns instantly, can be touched by a defender, or resets after a period depends on the server’s rules and the current situation.
Watch the flag’s position carefully. Leaving a dropped friendly flag unattended can allow an opponent to pick it up again. Do not assume you can always capture immediately after reclaiming the enemy flag.
In a low-pressure match, observe a dropped flag and note what makes it return on your server.
