How TeeZone uses account, competitive and optional Discord data. This is a transparency draft pending operator-specific legal details.
TeeZone is operated as a community Teeworlds platform. The operator must supply their legal name, service address and a working privacy contact in the official legal notice. These details have not been verified in this release; publication of a legally complete notice requires them.
For now, account-level requests can be initiated via Settings and concerns can be raised through the official TeeZone support channels. This is not a substitute for the required direct privacy contact.
TeeZone processes username and public profile details; a password verifier; session and security records; ratings, match outcomes and rankings; queue and clan membership; competition history; moderation and audit records; notifications, rewards and uploaded media where applicable.
Optional features may record your linked Discord account identifier and profile details, voice-channel identifiers and match-specific access state. Discord voice is opt-in for eligible team matches.
Account and competition information is used to provide requested functionality, match players, calculate MMR, show results and maintain community records (performance of the service). Security, abuse prevention, moderation, operational logging and backups support security and the legitimate interests of TeeZone and its members, subject to applicable rights and balancing.
Optional Discord linking and voice involve an affirmative user action and can be stopped by not using these optional features. The appropriate legal basis and any required consent language must be verified by the operator before launch.
Some usernames, ranks, match results, clan rosters and competition outcomes are public. Do not use your real name as a public username unless you choose to make it public.
Settings offers controls for country visibility and linked Discord visibility, account sessions, optional 2FA and account deletion requests. Removing your profile does not automatically erase all anonymized competitive results.
TeeZone uses technical session mechanisms to keep accounts signed in and a language preference to remember the selected language. Some preferences can also be held in browser local storage.
The operator should verify the full production deployment for additional analytics, hosting, firewall or anti-abuse cookies and document any additional providers before publishing this notice.
If you choose to link Discord, TeeZone sends you to Discord OAuth and receives account identification information for that link. A separate Discord application credential lets TeeZone manage private team voice channels for eligible matches.
Discord processes data under its own policies when you use its service. Opening a Discord channel does not guarantee automatic voice connection, and playing Ranked without Discord remains possible.
Primary competitive data is hosted on the TeeZone VPS and stored in SQLite. Security measures include hashed passwords and sessions, optional two-factor authentication, role restrictions and internal backups. Security controls reduce risk but cannot promise absolute security.
Network providers, the hosting provider and Discord (when used) may process relevant connection information. Exact recipients, processor agreements, hosting jurisdiction and possible international transfers must be documented by the operator.
Information is retained while needed for the account, competitive history, security and legal obligations. Deletion requests can be made through Settings. Where deletion is approved, identifying data is removed or anonymized as supported by the service; historical results may remain in anonymized form.
Operational logs, backups, inactive accounts and moderation records require documented retention periods. Exact periods are not asserted here until the administrator verifies the deployed retention policies.
Where applicable, you can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and object to certain processing. You may also complain to the competent data protection supervisory authority. Some rights have statutory conditions and exceptions.
To submit a request, use the official operator privacy contact when published; self-service account options are available in Settings.
This notice is reviewed when TeeZone changes providers, data categories, retention policies or optional integrations. Material updates should be announced through suitable platform channels. Last revised: 14 October 2026.
