Rotations and communication
Learn when to push, recover and regroup.
LEARN BY DOINGOne concept. One practical step.
Read the essentials below, then try the exercise in a real match. Gameplay examples can be added to this lesson later.
THE ESSENTIALS PUT IT INTO PRACTICE
A rotation is a purposeful change of position to protect a route, support your carrier or intercept the enemy. Rotate because the situation changes, not simply because another player is moving.
Keep communication short: player position, own flag status, carrier status and the route you intend to take. Clear calls help a team react without everyone giving conflicting instructions.
In a replay, find a moment when one teammate stayed in place too long. What information would have helped them rotate earlier?
