Your first competitive match
Prepare for the veto, team communication and the best-of series.
LEARN BY DOINGOne concept. One practical step.
Read the essentials below, then try the exercise in a real match. Gameplay examples can be added to this lesson later.
THE ESSENTIALS PUT IT INTO PRACTICE
Before a competitive game, check your team, the map selection and the matchroom instructions. TeeZone uses map vetoes, ready checks and best-of formats in its competitive features; follow the instructions shown for your particular match.
Once inside the matchserver, communicate if you are not ready. Map changes can bring a new round of coordination. Do not assume that one successful map means the series has ended.
Walk through a matchroom with your team and agree on a few clear callouts before the first map.
